High-pressure jetting is the right first step for most blocked drains. It clears the blockage fast and costs less. But it is not always the final answer.
If tree roots caused the blockage, they will grow back unless the entry point is sealed. If a crack or joint failure caused it, they will cause another blockage unless the pipe is structurally repaired.
